What a wonderful way to travel to and from work! Every time I catch the “Water Taxi” (Mount Batten Ferry) into Plymouth to go to the studio, it’s like going on a mini holiday… Happy days!

Glyn White: Back working in the studio today.

Last Saturday Deacon and I were joined by my good friend and fellow artist Tom Bird for a painting session at the New Street studio. I’ll be back working in there this afternoon.

Barbican New Street Artists: Devonport Guildhall Exhibition January – February 2016

In January 2016 Russell Aisthorpe joined Dave Crocker and Karina Vettorel at the New Street Studio on Plymouth’s Barbican. From 13th January to 23rd February 2016 the three New Street Barbican Artists held an exhibition at the Devonport Guildhall in Kerr Street, Plymouth. Here are some photos of that exhibition.

From Friday 24th October 2016 to Monday 27th October 2016 Karina Vettorel held her first exhibition in Plymouth at the studio in 34 New Street on the Barbican. Here are some photos of that exhibition.

Barbican New Street Artists: The first days

On the 2nd October 2015 Dave Crocker and Karina Vettorel took possession of the keys for the 2nd floor studio at 34, New Street on Plymouth’s Barbican. The early days were used to give the walls a new coat of paint, remove the carpet and prepare the studio for Katrina’s exhibition planned for the end of October .
